More than just a walk or run, AIDS Walk and Run San Diego is a chance to come together and show our support for vital HIV/AIDS resources, programs, and prevention efforts in San Diego. Whether you’re up for a spirited walk, a brisk run, or participating virtually from wherever you are, your participation will make a difference.
Here are the details:
- Date. Saturday, September 30, 2023
- Location. San Diego (or virtually, if that suits you better)
- Registration. $30 for youth, seniors, and virtual walkers, $40 for adult walkers
- Townspeople’s Goal. Raise $3500 to support essential HIV/AIDS initiatives we offer to San Diegans who reach out for assistance.
By walking, fundraising, and raising awareness of the event as part of Team Townspeople, you’ll help advance the well-being of those in San Diego affected by HIV/AIDS and experiencing homelessness. Step up with us to make strides towards ending HIV/AIDS stigma, normalizing regular HIV testing, fostering awareness of treatments like PEP and PrEP, and ensuring access to crucial resources and gender-affirming HIV/AIDS care for everyone in need.
